This wonderful class is designed for children who want to dance but are not quite old enough to withstand long hours in individual dance classes. Young dancers are given the opportunity to learn three dance styles in our 1 hour combo class.
Dancers will develop gross motor skills as they learn balance, movement, coordination, flexibility, self-expression and rhythm in our First Position combo class that offers basic ballet, jazz, and West African dance techniques.
Each class ends with a 10 minute yoga practice to calm and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Young dancers will perform three dance routines in the recital that will reflect the skills learned in all three dance disciplines.
